Had the opportunity to experience the 'Oscar de la Renta: His Legendary World of Style' exhibit recently.

Getting Back On Track
Those out there suffering from depression, like I am currently, understand how far it can set you back. You feel lost.
You feel confused.
And there are times when you feel trapped.
Social anxiety, started my depression and lead me to continually spiral downward. I ceased communication with friends and family to find peace. Eventually ending up alone.
It's hard to start over.
You may have lost a friend or two because they didn't understand.
Well, neither did you.
Now it's time to start fresh again. And get back on the right track.
To those out there still suffering, I understand.
To those out there struggling to break out of it, I understand.
It is important for us to communicate with others and find help for this issue, because no one should have to go through this alone.

Happy Birthday To Myself!
Okay so this is a late entry, but yesterday day was my birthday!
YAY!
How old am I this year? Nineteen!
Yes the big one-nine! Anything is possible at this age!
Like...
Oh, well I can't think of a dang thing.
What can you do at 19 that you couldn't do at 18?
Smoke in other states.
...
Well this is depressing.
Looks like Ill just wait two more years and then the world will open up for me.
Twenty-one here I come!

IBROKE MY PHONE!
IBROKE MY PHONE!
My life line, my baby, MY PRECIOUS!!!
Okay, maybe it's not that big of a deal. Usually I would feel powerless about this situation, but not this time! Today had to be one of the first days in years where I haven't used my phone at all. That's incredible! I remember the first time I was given a cellphone. It was 5th grade and I had begged my mom for months just to have one. She gave me her old one as a Christmas present, but it didn't matter, I was proud and showed it off to my friends.
This morning, I was foolish enough to leave my oh-so-sensitive and slippery phone on the edge of my bed. Face down it fell, on the cold tile floors. The inside screen is shattered and that was the brief life of my Nokia Lumia 1020.
Though it's all about looking at the bright side of things.
I used to think it was strange for my old roommate to occasionally leave her lifeline on her desk when she left to go places. (I'm not sure which places, but places). Living a day without a phone opened my eyes to all the possibilities of life beyond that tiny screen. I FELT SO ALIVE!
Though I can't say I don't miss it. I'm pretty sure I have a received a million messages by now. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mob out there looking for me.
Even with this tiny mishap, I still managed to enjoy my day. Hey, I may even do this again. Well, technically I will have to for these next couple of days, until I get my new one... Ugh.

OCTOBER IS HERE!!!
OCTOBER IS HERE!!!
Happy 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days of October!
Today I saw Annabelle in theaters! SPOILER ALERT! It's awesome, go and check it out. Also, I am an October baby, so all this month I have challenged myself to experience each day differently. By participating in clubs, volunteering at places, going to the movies, spending time with friends or whatever. Just making each day better than the last, which seems impossible, but if you learn to switch up your routine anything can seem extraordinary.
Other things happening in October!
Savannah is one of those cities in America well-known for its movie fests. The Savannah Film Fest is about to start up and I am going to volunteer. This means networking, meeting awesome people or famous people, and a free pizza party (for the volunteers of course).
American Horror Story, which comes out Tuesday, I am OVERWHELMINGLY excited.
My birthday and Halloween of course.
And midterms. =/
As you can see my life is full and busy right now. Nothing I will complain about because it's a great feeling.

So some questions for you!
How did you spend this first week of October? Anything interesting?
What are you excited for this Fall?
And what drinks should I try from Starbucks? I'm always looking for something new there, and something that will put me in the fall spirit!

Do you know about film?
What does that mean?
Well, now I have to start using film cameras. Just when I got so used to using my digital! :/
But I'm a big girl so I can handle this! I have been told that film is not as hard as it looks. The development stages just take a little gettin used to. Hopefully this will be a good experience.
Here is a look at my first film camera!
Canon AE-1
Technically, this is not my camera, I borrowed it from a fellow colleague. Though it is the first film camera I have ever used.
Looking around at different blogs, such as: Lust for Life, Fashion Toast, ashtray girl, and Zanita; just to name a few, I feel like I need to step up my photo game! These pictures I took with my phone, which is okay for an amateur blogger. But for a photographer? No not really, my skills are kind of slacking. Well, with hard work comes success. Sometimes.

Back In Action!
So it's been about a week of school and so far everything is going pretty well. Getting back in the swing of things is a little difficult since I have had three months off, but I'm trying!
Yesterday my bestfriend came to visit, which was awesome. Today, my grandparents stopped by and we ate at IHOP; of which I was fairly surprised by the good service and food. Even though I enjoy being here I can't say I don't miss my friends and family at least a wiggle bit. College life is tough, cause ultimately you're doing this alone. But I continue to keep my spirits up with YouTube and campus events.
Still trying to update as much as I can. Like I said, I'd rather not stick to schedules, because of my work load. But there is more to come later! So stick around!
I know you guys like pictures, so here's a random one!
