Here are the top five things I am afraid of..
- Insects
- Dark Corners
- Public Speaking
- Surgical Procedures
I'm sorry, but this thing looks as creepy as hell!! If I had to decide between Jason and this creature (SCP-173), I'd rather leave town.
The reason I just explained all of my top fears was not necessarily just for enjoyment, or to give people an opportunity to harass me with photographs of this beast.
These fears, (especially the one about insects) seem really minor when you look at the beautiful world around you.
Friends, family members, random acquaintances, used to always tell me how much of a shy person I was. They didn't know it, but those constant floods of opinions really got inside my head and made me into a shy and uneventful person. Because of their comments I was filled with a bunch of self doubt and it made me afraid to try new things.
Because I felt shy on the inside, I felt as though I couldn't be confident or feel comfortable with myself, because that's what others told me I couldn't do. That made me afraid to try anything new, or to be silly or outgoing. These feelings have held me back for years and there was a time where I felt as though I would never get past them.
Until I found YouTube. I started watching YouTube for the funny videos and whatnot. It wasn't until I dug deeper and found a whole community of people, some of them like me, who were being outgoing and random. Never letting fear get in the way of what they loved to do, which was entertaining.
So I researched countless YouTubers, including Shameless Maya. Their videos inspired me to promote myself and continue to creating.
Trust me, I have no clue where this channel is going to go from here. I'm not sure if anyone will subscribe, watch my content, or care about my views.
But there's only one thing I do know. As cheesy as it sounds!
I can not let the fear of failure block me from where I want to be.
We only have ONE body, ONE life, ONE moment to make a difference.
So before I die, I might as well make my life awesome!
